One reason for a famine of Posts recently is that the Charter Group has been focussed on the details of the Littlehampton Neighbourhood Plan and working and building support and public awareness of the Community Charter.
A general picture can be got at the Communities Plan Littlehampton Website and in particular a description of the representation and discussion of Community Views on the NP is on the LNP Action Tab of the site.
Two significant outcomes are that the Littlehampton Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group welcomed the contributions by the Charter Group, and incorporated many of the suggestions made in the Charter Group's Representation into the revised Submission Draft of the Plan; and that Littlehampton Town Council in its Full Meeting on 3rd October gave its Support to the Charter and welcomed working with the Group (supported by the Civic Society) and sharing its objectives.
